I saw earlier this week that kate spade’s lookbook site had been updated with pictures from the Spring ’11 collection.  I have been antsy about seeing more from the spring line since I first caught a preview back in September from WWD, and the new offerings shown here do not disappoint.  Bright color and clean bold prints abound, as well as adorable pineapple motifs, and every piece is infused with that signature kate spade sense of fun and statement.  Here are some of my favorites:

.

Kati Jeweled Cardigan – $295

Pineapple Grove Locket – $145

Jeanette Dress – $395
(LOVE. This will be mine mine mine.)

Solid Ring – $55

Melody Dress – $445

Kap Heel – $275

Beatrice Dress – $375

Karolina Heel – $295

Haircalf Madeline – $795

You can catch the full preview here.  Let me know which pieces you liked best!

Ooooh!
I normally don’t look twice at Kate Spade but then she pulls out one amazing piece that I adore. She had the owl purse, the book clutch, and now this Melody Dress! Beautiful.

I love the Jeanette Dress and the Melody Dress! So cute :)

I’m so happy that you cover KS stuff in your blog. :)

I’m crazy about the two pairs of heels you posted, the Tipsy Flats (will def buy), Cafe Iris Top, and Lourdes Heels, Gold Coast Bright Evangeline Bag.

I’ve become such a fan of Kate Spade lately it’s unbelievable. So many cute things to covet and buy!

Ooh, I am so behind in my reader, I didn’t see your post until now! How funny that we like so many similar things :)

Oh, Kate Spade! Why do you force me to give you all my money?

Predictably, I too love the striped Jeanette dress and flower ring that you posted. My other favorites include the hot pink flat version of the Kap Heel, the fuchsia bordered Boardwalk Blocked Straw Hat, straw Orange Slice handbag, and the paillette pineapple [coin?] purse that can be seen here:

Ack, that pineapple coin purse! I didn’t think anything could get cuter than the owl coin purse, but I may have been mistaken…

Don’t do this to me Anjali. It seems too crazy, early to think about Spring yet.

I have no Kate Spade. But I have always loved her jewelry. A lot like Kenneth Lane. The Pineapple necklace is to die for. I would totally go for that and the Melody Dress. But the color would probably wash me out.

I am concluding my week long Reader’s Challenge that Styles a Summer Dress (Anthro’s Yellow cloud) for Fall. Yes! A dress that you yourself have. Please help me wrap up by putting my Five Outfits to the Vote.

Vote for your Favorite Yellow Cloud Style

Oh my gosh – my heart skipped a beat a little when I saw the Beatrice Dress. *swoons!*

Wow these are gorgeous. I have yet to own anything Kate Spade, but I will drool from afar :) Actually, I just thrifted a vintage dress on Friday that looks a lot like that Melody dress :) So I can pretend I’m in Kate Spade hehe..

Anjali, Im totally in love with the Melody dress and the polka dot bag. but oh my, how expensive they both are!! sale please!

Comment by Vintageglammz

I love, love, love the cap toe heels. They are gorgeous and a perfect alternative to the ones we were talking about today. Hmm… maybe I will be able to fit them into my November budget.

Comment by tien

They won’t come out until spring! You’ll have time to save up for sure. And they are all for less than the cost of a pair of rain boots ;)

Oh, that pineapple grove necklace would have me dreaming of far-off places. Thanks so much for featuring this preview.

I just bit the bullet and bought my first pair of Kate Spade shoes — the Karolinas in aqua. I love them but am still a bit conflicted about them. I got them during the F&F sale for $225, which is a good deal for KS, but about twice what I’ve ever spent on shoes.

What are your thoughts on the Aqua Karolinas? I love that it is Tiffany blue. I think they would look great with black, navy, and gray. But I also wonder if the bright patent doesn’t look a bit like plastic!

Comment by Jamie

Jamie, how funny, I ordered the aqua Karolinas too! I love the silhouette of that shoe (I wear my cobalt pair constantly) and mint is one of my favorite colors to wear. My box came on Friday but I’ve been so busy this weekend, I haven’t had a chance to open it and see them in person. However, I think patent is prevalent enough in fashion, even in bright colors, that no one will think you are wearing plastic shoes! :) (Though I even have plastic shoes — the Vivienne Westwood x Melissa Lady Dragon shoes — and love them ;))

I love the lime green pineapple clutches — both sizes! And you got my other favorite with the Melody Dress. I’m thrilled Ms. Spade spelled Jeanette the way my sister spells her name. :) Like my name, there are so many variations out there. I recently purchased the Mercury Bette Dress and I am so in love with it!

Comment by roxy

Oh Roxy, you will rock that Mercury Bette so hard! I hope it makes an appearance on one of your weekly outfit posts :)

i’m also smitten with kate’s stuff; most especially her dresses. she’s never afraid of polka dots and stripes and colors… it’s great!

Comment by erika

Aaack! I may NEED that cap heel! I have been looking forever for the perfect cap heel and this is it! Thanks for enabling me!! ;)

Comment by Jessica

i was excited to see the preview site up! i love the Beatrice dress, hopefully i’ll be able to get it when it comes out. :)

Comment by lauren.

Whoa…
Kate Spade named two of her bags for Spring 2011 after two neighborhoods in Pittsburgh — Point Breeze and Shadyside!
Awesome!!! :)

Comment by Celanie Polanick

I love the melody dress just not the price… so many great new things!
