Today I’m wearing a new button-up I picked up from Anthro’s sale section a few weeks back (speaking of, Anthro’s sale selection this morning? Dear god. Amazing. I completely destroyed my budget.). I love the sweet Liberty-fabric-like print of the shirt, and though not visible here, it has cute little rolled up sleeves — the overall effect is very romantic-casual-Sunday-morningchic. Of course I then chose it pair it with something not sweet at all, this suede biker jacket from Acne. I’ve actually had her for ages (yes she is a “her”, I call her Lily, after Ms. Allen who originally sported this jacket and brought it to my attention), but it was far too hot to wear a jacket this summer and she was sort of hidden in the back of my closet by October, when the weather was finally getting a little chilly. I wish I had remembered having her earlier because I totally would have gone as Daria for Halloween. Instead I dressed up as…nothing. But anyway, I did finally rescue Lily today. She’s the perfect shade of kelly green and her vibrance alone has perked up my day considerably. The outfit is topped off by a necklace by my favorite independent jewelry designer, pequitobun, and of course that ever-ubiquitous accessory, a purple hairband around my wrist :) I swear I end up wearing one of those far more than any piece of actual jewelry.
